Your wedding should be a reflection of you as individuals and as a couple.

Your ceremony can be simple, elegant, modern, traditional, or casual. It is up to you.

Through meeting with you I will assist you in planning and designing a ceremony to your wishes.

Your ceremony can include: special readings, poems, music, vows and rituals.

I will ensure your ceremony is meaningful and memorable and expresses the love you share.

My fee includes:


  • An initial obligation free meeting (allow 1 ½ - 2 hours)
  • Second meeting to discuss details of wedding and to complete legal paperwork
  • Writing personalised ceremony
  • Regular contact by phone and email throughout the pre-ceremony period
  • Use of portable PA system
  • Rehearsal
  • Ceremony on the day
  • Presentation of Ceremony as memento
  • Lodging of NOIM form, Registering the marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages
  • Travel within metro area
  • Travel charge for greater distances to be negotiated
Legal Requirements:
There are a number of legal requirements which must be adhered to for weddings. Under the Marriage Act 1961 there are certain obligations as a couple intending to get married that you must meet prior to a marriage ceremony proceeding. I will be there to guide you through the whole process.
  • A Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) needs to be lodged with me no more than eighteen months and no less than one month prior to your wedding date. I can provide this form to you.
  • Relationship advice brochure given to couple (compulsory).
  • You will be required to organise two witnesses that will sign the register who are both over 18 years of age.
  • You must be over the age of 18, (if not please contact me regarding legalities).
I will need to sight certain documentation before the marriage can take place:
  • Sight evidence of birth: your original birth certificate, if born outside of Australia your passport will be satisfactory.
  • Evidence of Identity - Photo identification: Current Drivers Licence, Australian or Overseas Passport.
  • If either party has been previously married, you must provide me with evidence of the termination in the form Certificate of Divorce or equivalent (if divorced) or a full Death Certificate (if widowed).
  • Prior to your wedding both of you will be required to sign a Declaration of No Impediment to Marriage form between yourself and your partner.
  • On the day – Minimum legal wording must be included in the service and final signatures on official paperwork.
